The Black Bridge is a designated heritage concrete bowstring arch structure located in the Town of The Blue Mountains. Initially, Tatham Engineering provided a load posting recommendation for the structure as well as evaluating it for the specific load requirements for emergency vehicles and snow plows.

The evaluation included an assessment of the load posting requirement with various barrier replacement alternatives to improve safety. Subsequently, a rehabilitation program was detailed which included extensive patch repair work and replacement of the concrete barrier.
