Located in the Town of Wasaga Beach adjacent to the Nottawasaga River, River’s Edge is a residential subdivision consisting of over 1,000 townhouse and single-detached units.

Given the large scale of the project and the Town’s rapid population growth, accommodations for future expansion include an apartment block and four institutional blocks – one of which will be home to an upcoming high school. The development also includes two stormwater management ponds and generous park space.

Working with various approval authorities throughout, Tatham completed the final design for internal servicing works, including roads, water distribution, wastewater and stormwater collection and conveyance, stormwater management facilities, and overall lot grading. With project construction divided into phases to meet market demand, the entire design was completed at the start of the project to avoid duplication in the detailed design and approval process.
