With the diesel fuel storage tanks TSSA Certification set to expire at the Meaford Water Treatment Plant and Bighead Sewage Pumping Station, the Municipality of Meaford needed to upgrade the equipment to meet current codes and standards.
Working in consultation with the TSSA and Emergency Management Ontario, our team performed site investigations to review and document existing conditions.
We determined new fuel storage tank arrangements to work within the existing containment areas and provided details for leak detection monitoring and fuel fill alarm integration.
We also created removals and new installation drawings for both locations, along with electrical and mechanical specifications for the new equipment.
