CONSTRUCTION VALUE
The original watermains and appurtenances within the Grandview Beach and Paradise Point areas were operated on a seasonal basis and reaching the end of their life cycle.
To rectify on-going issues, Tatham Engineering undertook the design of a new year-round system that included installation of approximately 6.0 km of new watermains including valves, services, curbstops, fire hydrants, sampling stations and all appurtenances.
Also included was provision for installation of service connections from the municipal right-of-way limit to existing homes, as a number of properties were serviced by private wells or rear yard seasonal connections.
