Tatham was retained for a parking lot reconstruction at the Beaver Valley Community Centre, a busy local hub and arena located in the Town of The Blue Mountains.

The redesign of the parking lot meets accessibility standards, improves vehicle and pedestrian circulation, and beautifies the space with the addition of planted islands and street furniture.

The design of new storm sewers addresses drainage deficiencies, and the installation of electrical vehicle charging stations and landscaping improvements will enhance visitors’ experience.

Working with a geotechnical subconsultant, our teams developed an innovative, cost-saving pavement rehabilitation strategy, salvaging most on-site granular to minimize excess fill and adding geotextile for increased service.
