Working closely with EPCOR, Tatham provided engineering design services for hydro pole upgrades and the electrical service connection required to support the installation of four electric (EV) charging stations.

Our team also provided engineering review to assist and authenticate the design of the EV chargers, completed by EPCOR’s design group in Edmonton.

The two Level 3 fast chargers and two Level 2 chargers are located in a municipal parking lot adjacent to the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena.

This project supports the Town of Collingwood’s commitment to green initiatives and was made possible through funding from National Resources Canada (NRCan) and a Federal Development Agency (RTO7) grant. In addition to four stations completed with this project, Tatham previously supported the Town in 2021 with the installation of Collingwood’s first six EV charging stations.
