Tatham was retained for the upgrade of Sewage Pumping Station #4 in the Town of Innisfil. With projected residential growth in the communities of Alcona, Sandy Cove, and Friday Harbour, the facility was in need of enhanced pumping capacity and functionality.

The project upgraded the existing SPS to increase capacity from 230 L/s to 440 L/s through the replacement of three existing vertical-shaft dry-pit pumps with three dry-pit submersible pumps, all process piping and valves, MCC control panels, VFDs, and the emergency generator. Structural modifications and upgrades were made to the heating and ventilation systems to address the requirements of the NFPA 820 hazardous classifications of the various spaces, and an odour control system at the wet well was installed.

Additional provisions were also made to accommodate further growth in the serviced communities.
