Located in the community of Lagoon City, Township of Ramara, this project included the replacement of existing municipal water and sanitary sewer infrastructure on the local road known as Beaver Trail.
Due to the poor sub-soil conditions typical of this region, the existing asbestos cement (AC) sanitary sewers had settled between maintenance hole structures, resulting in infiltration and increased maintenance. The solution included a polyethylene wrapped ductile iron sanitary sewer supported on piles, offering strong resistance to settlement and corrosion.
