Lefroy Reservoir and BPS Phase 2 Expansion

INNISFIL, ON

Since the design and construction of the Lefroy Water Booster Pumping Station and Reservoir in 2014, Tatham has worked closely with the Town of Innisfil and InnServices Utilities Inc. on the facility’s servicing and expansion.

Most recently, our teams provided design services and oversaw construction for Phase 2 of facility expansion. The expansion includes the addition of two new reservoir cells which doubles storage to 4,200 m³, two additional high lift pumps equipped with VFDs for a total of six pumps, and the installation of VFDs on two existing pumps.

Led by our Water & Wastewater team, the project included involvement from Tatham’s Mechanical, Electrical, and Buildings departments.

These additions significantly increase water storage and pumping capacity to meet the community’s current demands with room for future growth.
