After the success of their first restaurant location in Collingwood, Northwinds Brewery chose the ever-expanding Blue Mountain Village as the destination for their second location.
Our team worked in collaboration with SMV Architects and Neuf Architects to complete the structural design of the building. The modern brewhouse includes a hidden mechanical mezzanine within the attic space and two large exterior patios overlooking the mill pond.
The design incorporates conventional wood framing on reinforced concrete foundations and a complex roof structure consisting of a combination of wood trusses and conventional framing.
