Tatham was retained for the rehabilitation of four sections of road in the Town of Innisfil. Our Transportation team provided detailed engineering design and construction services for the 5th Line (between Yonge Street and 10th Sideroad), 9th Line (between 20th Sideroad and Yonge Street), 10th Line (between Yonge Street and 10th Sideroad), and Gilford Road (between Beach Road and 20th Sideroad).

The project involved in-place processing of the existing road makeup, full-depth reconstruction in select areas, new hot-mix asphalt, and improved road signage and pavement markings. Drainage improvements were also conducted and included the upsizing of culverts, regrading of drainage ditches, and new concrete curb and gutter in isolated sections.

Structural improvements to the existing concrete box culverts along 5th Line, 9th Line and 10th Line were also performed, including the replacement of distribution slab, deck and soffit patches, curb and parapet wall repairs, and waterproofing.

These comprehensive upgrades have significantly enhanced the strength, drainage, and functionality of the roadways. The improved pavement surfaces, drainage systems, structural repairs, and upgraded signage will provide a safer driving experience for all users.
