Tatham Engineering was retained by the Town of Parry Sound to complete design, inspection and contract administration of the reconstruction of Waubeek Street. Waubeek Street is an urban arterial road that connects the downtown core to the north.

The reconstruction includes replacement of sanitary sewer and forcemain, storm sewer, watermain and full road reconstruction including new curbs and sidewalks.

Rock excavation, protection of existing utilities and maintaining traffic through the site during construction provided additional challenges to the project. The construction was completed in three parts between November 2018 and August 2020.
