Tatham Engineering is proud to announce that Jessica Stapleton, P.Eng., has been named one of Canadian Consulting Engineer (CCE) magazine’s Top 10 Engineers Under 40 for 2025. This prestigious national honour recognizes young professionals who are making significant contributions to the engineering industry in Canada.

Jessica’s nomination was sparked by a meaningful conversation with her mentor and colleague, Jeremy Ash—a moment that led to this well-deserved recognition and reflects the power of mentorship.

Jessica joined Tatham Engineering in 2023 and quickly became a cornerstone of our Municipal Team, leading infrastructure improvement projects across Simcoe County from our Barrie and Orillia offices. Her technical expertise, leadership, and commitment to community impact have made her an invaluable member of our firm.

Before joining Tatham, Jessica began her career in downtown Toronto, contributing to major medical facility projects, including work on SickKids and Toronto Western Hospital.

Jessica is not only a talented engineer and project manager but also a shareholder at Tatham. She actively contributes to Tatham’s employee resource groups, and is now transitioning to chair a new Young Professionals Committee within the company. .

Her dedication extends beyond our firm. Jessica serves as Vice Chair of the Simcoe Chapter and Secretary of the Future Leaders Network within the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – Ontario (ACEC-Ontario), helping shape the future of the profession.

“Helping others is what recharges my batteries and fills my cup,” says Jessica. Her approach to mentorship—both within Tatham’s internal programs and externally through ACEC-Ontario—demonstrates her commitment to fostering growth and collaboration in the engineering profession.

Please join us in congratulating Jessica on this outstanding achievement. We are honoured to have her on our team and excited to see the continued impact she will make in our industry and communities.
