Collingwood, ON, June 6, 2025 – Tatham Engineering is proud to announce the establishment of its formalized Corporate Giving Program, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to social responsibility, employee well-being and its core purpose of enhancing the communities it serves. Beginning in 2026, the program formally allocates a portion of targeted annual revenue to charitable donations, in-kind contributions, and sponsorships across all six of Tatham’s office locations. The program has been designed with a focus on Tatham’s core values of health and community and will direct two-thirds of its corporate giving to health care and related organizations.

At the heart of this new initiative is a landmark $500,000, seven-year commitment to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation (CGMH Foundation) — a powerful investment in the region’s health care infrastructure and a testament to Tatham’s deep roots in the Collingwood community.

The announcement was made on Thursday, June 5, during the CGMH Foundation’s annual Mad River Classic — a golf tournament Tatham has proudly supported for over a decade.

“As the Title Sponsor of the Mad River Classic since 2011, Tatham Engineering has truly made the CGMH Foundation’s Golf Tournament a fundraising success,” said Jory Pritchard-Kerr, President & CEO, CGMH Foundation. “Throughout the years, Tatham has supported numerous campaigns to help us purchase vital equipment including a new CT scanner and our first MRI. And now, they are investing in the future of healthcare, with this generous gift towards a new hospital for South Georgian Bay. We are incredibly grateful to Tatham for their generosity and commitment to bringing quality care, closer to home.”

Tatham’s Corporate Giving Program will prioritize health care initiatives, with a significant portion of the funding dedicated to primary care centers such as CGMH. Additional areas of focus include mental health services, hospice care, health education, and wellness campaigns.

Complementing this, each office will have the discretion to allocate a portion of the funding to support causes that resonate with their staff and local communities.

“Our goal is to ensure that our giving is both impactful and aligned with the values of our people,” said Dan Hurley, President of Tatham Engineering. “By formalizing our approach, we’re creating a consistent and transparent framework that empowers our offices to support the causes that matter most to them.”
