Tatham Engineering Limited is pleased to announce a $100,000 multi-year donation commitment to the new YMCA in Barrie. In recognition of this generous gift, the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka has named the new facility’s Health Services Lounge the ‘Tatham Health Lounge.’

This meaningful contribution reflects Tatham Engineering’s long-standing commitment to building healthier, more connected communities. For several years, our team has worked closely with the YMCA, providing invaluable expertise from site selection through planning approvals and construction— demonstrating our belief that spaces like the YMCA play a vital role in community wellness.

The Tatham Health Lounge
The newly named Tatham Health Lounge will serve as a dedicated, inclusive wellness space central to patient rehabilitation programs. Carefully designed to support the mind, body, and spirit of both community members and staff, the lounge embodies the YMCA’s mission to foster holistic personal growth and will create a lasting, positive impact for decades to come.
Part of Our Broader Community Commitment
This investment exemplifies Tatham Engineering’s Corporate Giving Program, launched in 2025 to formalize and expand our philanthropic efforts across Ontario. Beginning in 2026, we allocate a portion of targeted annual revenue to charitable donations, sponsorships, and in-kind contributions—with two-thirds dedicated to health-related initiatives.
Our Barrie office’s support of the YMCA reflects our regional focus: each Tatham office selects causes that resonate with their communities, from environmental initiatives to youth programs and local healthcare.
