This September, Tatham Engineering donated $10,000 to Barrie’s Royal Victoria Regional Heath Centre (RVH). This adds to the total sum of $50,000 donated by Tatham to RVH since 2018. The donation will go towards the development of RVH’s facilities and services.

Tatham’s donations have been made in support of RVH’s Moments Matter campaign, which aims to raise $100M over 10 years to support RVH’s vision for the future.

With the population of South Simcoe County expected to double over the next two decades, the hospital must expand to keep pace with the growing demand for care. This includes expanding the current North Campus to double in size with the addition of a nine-story patient care tower, as well as a new South Campus in Innisfil focusing on outpatient care.

Tatham’s Vice President, Bryan Stanton, P.Eng., is based in the firm’s fastest-growing office on King Street in Barrie. Seeing the influx of new staff and their families to the area, he is thrilled to be able to provide this level of support to the hospital.

“Our communities are growing and thriving, and it is important for us to give back in ways that enhance our communities and set us up for growth and success,” said Stanton.

Tatham will complete its first five-year pledge with the hospital next year, with a total of $60,000 donated to date.
