On Thursday, December 9, 2021, Jeff Akitt, Director, Manager – Land Development, and Deb Fitzsimmons, Administrative Assistant, presented a cheque for $30,467.80 to Susan Prosser, Relationship Manager, of United Way Simcoe Muskoka (UWSM).
Each November, Jeff and Deb are part of a small team at Tatham that run our internal United Way fundraising campaign. In Tatham tradition, the goal each year is to surpass the previous year’s donations, in hopes of helping more families in our communities.
This year’s campaign did not disappoint. Tatham employees from each of our five offices opened their hearts and wallets to support the UWSM with a cumulative donation of $15,233.90. Tatham matched those contributions, resulting in a total donation of $30,467.80. 2021 is the third year in a row that Tatham and its staff have donated over $30,000 to United Way. The company has donated over $200,0000 to various UWSM campaigns since 1998.
