Tatham’s 3rd Annual Staff Tree Planting Volunteer Day, held in collaboration with Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority and Nature Conservancy of Canada, was a success! This year, our team contributed to over 300 native trees and shrubs planted in the Minesing Wetlands along Willow Creek. The day was a memorable experience as we worked together to enhance one of Ontario’s largest and least disturbed wetlands. The newly planted trees will play a crucial role in improving fish and wildlife habitats, shading Willow Creek to lower water temperatures, stabilizing streambanks to reduce erosion, and capturing carbon. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our volunteers who joined us this year and the NVCA and NCC for leading the event. Through the past three years, our team has planted a total of 970 trees across Simcoe County!
