Exciting developments underscore years of continued growth and success
Guelph, ON, July 8, 2024: Tatham Engineering, a leading Canadian employee-owned multidisciplinary civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering consulting firm, is delighted to announce three significant milestones that underscore the firm’s 35 years of continued growth and commitment to enhancing communities across Ontario.
New Branch Office in Guelph
Tatham Engineering is thrilled to announce the opening of a new branch office in the vibrant city of Guelph. Located on Macdonell Street in the heart of the downtown district, the new office will enable the firm to provide localized support and build stronger connections across more communities in central and southwestern Ontario.
“Our Guelph office will help address the demand for consulting engineering services in this region and act as a strategic hub for Tatham employees already residing in the area,” says Dan Hurley, President at Tatham.
“With a growing team of expert professional engineers and technologists, I am confident that our new office will empower staff and help them feel closer to the communities they serve.”
Headed by office manager Stuart Mitchell, P.Eng., the Tatham Engineering – Guelph Branch Office is located at 18 Macdonell Street, Unit 200, Guelph, ON, N1H 2Z3.
Welcoming Vice President David Clark, P.Eng.
Tatham Engineering’s leadership team is delighted to be welcoming David Clark, P.Eng. to the role of Vice President – Building Engineering Services.
Based out of the new Guelph office and leading team members from Tatham offices across Ontario, David brings over 30 years of experience as an award-winning building services engineer.
“Joining this talented team at a time of so much growth is very exciting,” said David Clark. “Tatham’s community-driven approach and commitment to employee professional development are values that I deeply appreciate.”
Prior to joining Tatham, David was a Principal and Practice Leader in Buildings at Stantec’s Waterloo office, where he was instrumental in overseeing major complex projects and driving innovation in the field of building engineering.
“David holds an impressive track record as an industry leader, engineering community member, and mentor for early-career engineers,” said Dan Hurley. “I have no doubt that he will be a terrific fit for our team.”
Expansion of Building Engineering Services Market Sector
In line with strategic growth, Tatham Engineering will be adding depth and expanding its offerings in the Building Engineering Services market sector to their roster of multidisciplinary offerings.
As an engineering firm already specializing in Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Air & Noise, Net Zero and Decarbonization Engineering, this additional expertise and oversight will integrate efforts across these departments to bolster Tatham’s comprehensive, full-service abilities.
As Vice President of Building Engineering Services, David Clark will manage, develop, and guide the growing teams with operational efficiency and technical excellence.
