The Nottawasaga Lighthouse Preservation Society (NLPS) was extremely pleased to receive a donation from CCTA in the amount of $2,550. This cheque represented CCTA’s return of fees for engineering services on Nottawasaga Island. In the summer of 2017, engineers made a site visit and produced detailed drawings for a future dock on the island. The NLPS was formed in 2013 to ensure that the heritage resources of the Nottawasaga Island Lighthouse are protected through restoration and preservation. CCTA was happy to contribute their ongoing conservation efforts.
