On May 25, 2016, Mike Sanfilippo and Madeleine Joyal attended the 5th Annual Supplier Awards Dinner hosted by CBRE held in Toronto. At the event, Mike and Madeleine accepted the “Service Excellence and Outstanding Contribution Award” for CBRE’s South Region. The award was presented to Tatham Engineering and Tamarco Contracting for our work on the foundation wall repairs at Sainte Marie Among the Hurons in November 2015.
CCTA assessed, designed, and worked closely with Tamarco to replace a 50-year-old rotted wood foundation wall at the museum entrance within 4 weeks – in time for the site to accommodate a record 11,371 visitors for the annual First Light event. We were recognized for our efficiency and ingenuity in addressing the emergency situation and completing the required design and repairs within the strict time frame and less-than-ideal site conditions.
